CECOL is the North American Division of Citizen Electronics Company, Ltd. Born out of the Citizen Watch Company, and its need to develop state-of-the-art micro-miniature electronic components, Citizen Electronics has grown beyond to become a technology leader in key components for today’s most advanced products. Our packaging technology brings more flexibility in downsizing your design and application.

Today, we are helping leading-edge makers of cell phones, PDAs, digital cameras, automototive products, medical products, measurement instruments and others to better interface between human and machine. Our surface mountable LED products, switches and sensors , and our audio components are raising the bar for performance and design creativity.

For example, Citizen’s incredible range of LED devices, not only help products look better, they can add new functionality and customer appeal. With this in mind, we are constantly striving for new advances, in order to better connect electronic products and people’s lifestyles. That helps our customers to add value to their products and enhances customer appeal.

While we develop, manufacture and market a very wide variety of electronic devices, often these components have similar end-product applications. This can help us to simplify sourcing for our customers as well as streamline engineering support. We also offer comprehensive world-market logistics and support.

As the North American division of Citizen, Cecol offers all of the services and support you would expect from a world-class supplier. We offer local North American engineering and customer support, backed by Citizen’s engineering resources in Japan.

Cecol was founded in 1997, and is 100% owned by Citizen Electronics. There is no need to deal with multiple offices or personnel for different parts, as we the sole North American source for the entire range Citizen components.
